How it works

  1. Upload or writeDrop in your resume as a PDF, or write freely about your experience and education.
  2. Review your base resumeCheck the sections we read from your file and fix anything that came out wrong. Your original file is kept as it was.
  3. Pick a templateChoose classic or modern as your default PDF layout.
  4. Let each job get its own versionFor every job in your queue, the builder tailors the resume and the fact check removes anything your original does not support.
  5. Edit when you wantOpen any version, change what you like and save it before it goes out.

Drag across your resume. See what changed, and what did not.

Every tailored line maps back to a line you wrote, with the same verbs and the same scope. Only the wording and the order move toward the job. A line that claims more gets cut.

Original and tailoredSample data
  1. Worked on the onboarding flow and talked to users every week.
  2. Made app screens and prototypes in Figma.
  3. Helped with the design system.

Cut by the checkRedesigned the onboarding flow used by every new customer. Not in your original. You worked on the flow; you did not redesign it.

Three lines in, three lines out. The one that claimed more was cut.

Your line, reworded for the job. Same facts.

The builder rewords and reorders each bullet for the job description, keeping your verbs and your scope. Then the fact check compares it with your original and cuts anything it cannot find there.

Tailored resume, Sample data

Tailored to each job, without making things up

For every job in your queue, the builder reorders and rewrites your experience so the most relevant work comes first and the wording matches what the job description asks for.

Then a second check compares the new version with your original. Any skill, title or result that is not backed by your real experience is removed before the resume is used. Recruiters can ask about anything on your resume, so we keep it honest.

How the fact check works

Every tailored resume is compared with your original before it is used. Skills, job titles, employers, dates and results that do not appear in your real experience are removed. Rewording is fine. Inventing is not.

If the fact check removes something you really did, the fix is simple: add it to your base resume. From then on every tailored version can use it.

Start from what you already have

Drag in your current resume as a PDF and we read it into sections: summary, experience, education, skills and languages. No PDF? Write freely about your work in a few lines, and the builder organizes it into a proper resume for you.

No resume yet? Start by writing

If this is your first job, you are changing careers or your last resume is years old, writing freely is often easier than editing an old file. Write the way you would explain your work to a friend. The builder turns it into sections and bullet points you can review.

  • Each job or project you did, with the company or client name and roughly when.
  • What you were in charge of, and one or two things you are proud of.
  • The tools, software and methods you used every day.
  • Freelance work, volunteering and personal projects that show real skills.
  • Courses, degrees and certificates, with the institution.
  • The languages you speak and how well.

Keep your base resume up to date

Every tailored version starts from your base resume, so that is the one worth caring for. When you finish a project, learn a tool or change roles, add it there. The next applications pick it up right away.

It also helps to read a few tailored versions from time to time. If one of them highlights something you would rather not lead with, edit your base resume so the most important work is clear from the start.

What a strong resume has

  • A short summary at the top that says what you do and at what level.
  • Roles in reverse order, newest first, with title, company and dates.
  • Bullet points that describe results, not just tasks.
  • The tools and skills you really use, named the way job descriptions name them.
  • Education and languages in their own clear sections.
  • Nothing that makes the reader hunt: no dense paragraphs, no tiny fonts, no clutter.

Bullet points that make people keep reading

A good bullet starts with what you did, then says what changed because of it. "Responsible for customer emails" tells the reader very little. "Answered customer emails for a team of six and wrote the help articles that answered the most common questions" tells them what you can do.

When you have a real number, use it. When you do not, describe the result in plain words. The builder works the same way: it rewrites your bullets to be clearer and closer to what each job asks for, then checks every number and result against your original and cuts the ones without support. In review mode you read it before it goes out.

A skills section that pulls its weight

List the skills you could talk about for five minutes in an interview. Group them in a simple way, like tools, methods and languages, and use the names the market uses, such as "Figma" or "SQL" rather than "design software" or "databases".

Skip soft skills in this section. "Communication" and "teamwork" are better shown inside your experience bullets, where they come with an example. The builder brings the skills each job asks for to the top of the list when you have them.

Formats recruiters and ATS read well

  • Clean PDF with real text, not an image.
  • Standard section titles that applicant tracking systems recognize.
  • Two templates: classic and modern.
  • Edit any version yourself before it goes out.
  • One language per resume, matching the language of the job.

Classic or modern

There are two PDF templates. Classic is a calm, traditional layout that suits most industries. Modern has a little more visual personality while keeping the same clear structure. Both export real text, so the content can be read and searched.

Pick one as your default. You can switch at any time and the content moves over as it is.

Resumes for jobs abroad

If you are applying to companies in another country, a few local habits are worth dropping. Many resumes in Latin America include a photo, age, marital status or national ID numbers. Companies in the US and many in Europe do not expect these, and some prefer not to receive them.

Write your location as city and country, and add the time zone if the job is remote. Put your English level in the languages section. The builder writes each tailored resume in the language of the job, so an English job gets an English resume even if your original is in Portuguese or Spanish.

Questions people ask

Can I edit the resume?

Yes. Your base resume and every tailored version can be edited in the app, and you choose which one is your default.

Does it work in English and Portuguese?

Yes. The resume follows the language of the job description, so an English job gets an English resume.

What if I do not have a resume yet?

Write a few lines about your experience and education. The builder turns them into a structured resume you can review.

Is my original resume kept?

Yes. The file you upload stays exactly as it was. The optimized version becomes your base, and every tailored copy is saved with the application it was used for.

Can the builder translate my resume?

Each tailored resume is written in the language of the job. If your original is in Portuguese and the job is in English, the version sent to that job is in English.

Should I include a photo?

For jobs in the US and many other countries, it is usually better to leave the photo out, along with age and marital status. Follow the habits of the country where the company hires.

Why did the fact check remove something I wrote?

Because it was not in your base resume. Add it there, with the real details, and future tailored versions can use it.

How long should my resume be?

Long enough to show your relevant work and short enough to skim. For most people that means one or two pages. The builder keeps the most relevant experience at the top for each job.

Can I use the resume outside Quantum Work?

Yes. Download any version as a PDF and send it wherever you like.
